Directions To Our Activity Base Our boat and bike hire operation and many of our activities and events take place on the beach at Loch Lomond Shores in Balloch: Can You Experience Loch Lomond Shores Ben Lomond Way Balloch G83 8QL From the South (M74/M6) The M74 will take you to the south side of Glasgow. On your approach to Glasgow follow the signs form the M73 which will take you to the M8 - Loch Lomond, Greenock. Leave the M8 at Junction 30, for Erskine Bridge. Over the bridge, join the A82 following signs for Crianlarich. Stay on the A82 for approximately 14 miles. You will come to a roundabout indicating Balloch to the right, take this exit. At the next two roundabouts take a left. Loch Lomond Shores is directly in front of you. From the East (Via Glasgow Airport) Follow the M8 west bound heading for Greenock. Leave the M8 at junction 30, for the Erskine Bridge. Over the bridge, join the A82 following signs for Crianlarich. Stay on the A82 for approximately 14 miles. You will come to a roundabout indicating Balloch to the right, take this exit. At the next two roundabouts take a left. Loch Lomond Shores is directly in front of you. From Glasgow City Centre Accessing Loch Lomond Shores couldn’t be simpler. ’First Glasgow’ local bus services, 204, 205 and 215 from Glasgow City Centre (Glassford Street) provide a service direct to Loch Lomond Shores. There are also regular train links (every 30 minutes) from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Balloch, with the train station only a 10 minute walk from Loch Lomond Shores.
